Madison WI is also nicknamed mad city, city of four lakes or madtown. Madison is in the state of Wisconsin and is the capital. In 1829, a former federal judge James Duane Doty acquired more than thousand acres between Lake Monona and Mendota, the land was swamp and forest land. The Madison city was named as the fourth President of the U.S. who died in 1836. In 1836 the territorial legislature had convened in Belmont when they created the Wisconsin territory. Doty was at the frontline in lobbying for Madison to be the new capital. During the civil war madison WI was a center of the Union Army.

From 1911 to 1959 Wright worked on his designs. The property comprises of a home, with joining structure of studio, a school, gallery and a theater. A dam, the Romeo & Juliet Windmill and Midway farms and a restaurant. The Wisconsin state capitol is located a few blocks of the lakeshore of the Madison’s downtown. House on the rock is perched and the top of deer shelter rock with more than 3,200 windows which was designed by a desire to follow on Frank Lloyd footsteps. The house on the rock stands in a resort and an inn. The Monona Terrace was designed by Frank Lloyd although he didn’t see the actual building. This building was built on wright’s exterior design with the original glass façade. The madison Museum of Contemporary Art is the entertainment and lifeblood of arts.
Madison WI has been focused due to its diversity in the races. The racial gap in the Madison city is growing with an increase in the black and Hispanic community. In 2000 – 2010 the black population by 38% and the Hispanic population increased by 84%. This shows that these communities have increased faster than the Asian and white communities.
